THE SEASON of the year, both in the spring and fall (typically when our tours are scheduled), are optimal traveling times to see and experience the land of the Bible. They are typically rain-free, with comfortable temperatures. The temperature is generally in line with the temperatures experienced in the State of Georgia, with mild and pleasant conditions present. Weather conditions will be warmer in the Judean Desert and Jordan Valley area, and cooler in the hills surrounding Jerusalem and in the Golan Heights. For the fall tour, temperatures will 60's to 80's. For the April, 2012 tour, temperatures should be in the 70's - 80's. For the June, 2012 tour, the weather will be in the 80's. For the November, 2012 tour, temperatures should be from the 80's in Cairo to the 60's in Jerusalem.
ALL VISA AND BORDER FEES are taken care of for you by us. We travel with a group visa which means easier transfers and passage between countries.
THE PRICE of our group travel is actually quite competitive, providing the best way to see the lands of the Bible. The itineraries of all my tours are unique, for they feature sites that most groups do not see. The tour packages for each tour include:
Round-trip commercially scheduled air transportation from either JFK (New York) for the April and June, 2012 tours (using Delta). The November, 2012 tour will depart from Dulles, DC Airport via Austrian Air (incidently, if political issues arise in Cairo again, Austrian Air is one airlines that gives us some flexiblility of diverting the beginning of our trip to Amman, Jordan if it deems necessary).
Deluxe/first class hotels (twin bedded rooms with private bath), all in walking distance of many areas to explore on your own.
Breakfast (full buffet breakfasts) and dinners daily. Plenty of wonderful food to eat for everyone!
“Full day” (in contrast to partial day as some tours offer) sight-seeing from a historical, biblical, and archaeological background. Dr. DeLancey's new book (Devotional Treasures from the Holy Land) is offered complementary to enhance your learning and appreciation of the land of the Bible, as well as a fully descriptive 130 page Guide Book. These 2 resources draw from his experience as a one-year archaeology student living in Jerusalem as well as his coordinating and leading of 21 previous tours. A 98 page “Interactive” booklet is also offered available for download as a document on the Hebraic background of Jesus. The specific itinerary will take us to many sites not often visited by most tour groups.
Israeli guides that are “top notch” in their understanding of the world of the Bible. Shlomo Ben-Asher, a renown tour guide of more than 20 years has been scheduled. Shlomo has a keen sensitivity to the goals and objectives of our trip together. He is a "wealth of information" and very personal, and a personal friend of mine.
Solidly evangelical and biblical-based group devotional time, with rich and life-changing spiritual worship experiences, inspiring your own walk with Christ.
Deluxe motor coaches, making the trip comfortable for traveling to the numerous sites we’ll see together in Israel alone.
All transfers on arrival and departure overseas, including porterage and assistance.
All entrance fees into archaeological sites, hotel taxes, and service charges.
Optional travel insurance for each tour is highly recommended. Coverage is offered by Travel Guard International. Their Insurance Brochure lists coverages. The price of the insurance varies according to the price of the trip. Travel Guard's phone number is 1-800-826-1300 if you have any specific questions about coverage.

SAFETY in traveling to Israel is still statistically far safer than driving a car anywhere in the U.S. Despite what you hear on the news, you will find both Arabs and Israelis friendly and cordial. Without a doubt, the issue of "safety" is the primary question I am asked. However, as every tour group member has experienced before, you will feel safe the entire trip. Read some testimonials on safety.
FREE TIME in addition to our regular tour schedule (typically 7:45 a.m. - 5:00/30 p.m.) will be yours in which to do your own thing, whether exploring, shopping, or relaxing. All of our hotels are located in areas conducive to exploring the area. In places like Jerusalem, I will offer optional pre-breakfast and nightly walks for those who wish to explore these areas further.
