It's my humble privilege to greet you today in Jesus' name! I take joy in the opportunities God gives me to extend my personal ministry and friendship to those who travel with me. I thank God for the opportunity and privilege to introduce myself to you as well.

Meet Rev. Dr. Pastor John DeLancey

A graduate of Cedarville College of Ohio with a Degree in Biblical Studies and Archaeology.

A one-year student at the American University of Jerusalem (formerly called The Institute of Holy Land Studies). Rev. DeLancey studied extensively in the fields of Biblical history and geography and archaeology with Dr. Jim Monson, Dr. Gabriel Barkay (Hebrew University), Dr. Anson Rainey (Tel Aviv University), and Dr. Rifka Gonen (Haifa University). Excavated at 2 archaeological sites in Israel:
1). “Khirbet Nisya” (An possible site for the Old Testament city of Ai.
2). “Ir David” (Hebrew for The City of David, or Old Testament Jebus/Jerusalem).

Served as an Archaeology Tour Guide for Dr. Jim Flemming in and around Jerusalem.

A graduate of Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia, Pa. with a Masters of Divinity Degree.

Post graduate studies at North Park Seminary of Chicago, Il.

Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity Seminary in November 2003, with a focus on preaching & pastoral ministry.

Currently serving (since 1999) as Pastor of the Stoneridge Covenant Church of Allison Park, PA (suburb of Pittsburgh). Previous pastor at the Calvary Covenant Church in Evansville, MN (from 1990-1999).

Tour Leader of 13 Holyland Tours. Tour Leader of 1 Greece and Turkey tour as well (March, 2003).

Invited guest instructor at selected churches in the field of Historical Geography and Biblical Archaeology.

Author of his own 130 page Guide Book entitled, Historical, Biblical, and Archaeological Backgrounds, a Guide Book used on his Holy Land Tours. This is the guidebook given to all travelers who join the tour. A 98 page “Interactive Book” is also used, helping people to “process and appreciate” what they see on each day of the tour!
